SPEAKER C I'm glad you could join us. I'm your host, Gayl Fong, and with me in the studio today is Hana Nakagawa. Welcome, Hana. SPEAKER D Thank you, Gayl. SPEAKER C Today, Hana, we're going to study the Bible's longest and most amazing prophecy. Godly living in the 21st century, our world is frantically searching for some message of hope. The Book of Revelation reveals hope for today, tomorrow and forever. And in our last Bible study, we began to look into the Book of Revelation a lot more. Jesus is on the way. He's coming to take us home. Our lesson today unfolds one of the Bible's most amazing prophecies. Well, in our last message, we discovered God's special message in Revelation chapter 14. A message to prepare a people for the coming of Jesus. Jesus final last day message announces the hour of God's judgment has come in Revelation 14 seven or is come. In this lesson, we will study where this judgment takes place and when it began. If we are living at the time of the end in God's judgment hour, it makes all the difference in how we live our lives. Although Revelation reveals that the hour of God's judgment has come, it does not tell us when. To discover when the judgment began, we must turn to the prophetic Book of Daniel. The prophecies of Daniel unlock the mysteries of Revelation. These two Bible books are designed by God to be studied together. And that's what we're going to do today. Hana. But before we begin, would you open with prayer? SPEAKER D Sure. Lord, heavenly Father, thank you so much for bringing us together, and we can search Your words and learn from you. Father, we invite your Holy Spirit to be with us. Lead us, guide us, and I pray, Lord, that you will lead us into the truth, lord, only through the Spirit we may understand. So, Lord, I pray that you will give us your Holy Spirit. We pray all these things in Jesus precious name. Amen. SPEAKER C Amen. Thank you, Hana. Well, our first Bible verse we're going to look up is Daniel. Daniel, chapter seven, verses nine and ten. And according to the prophet Daniel Hana, where does the judgment take place? SPEAKER D Yes, the Bible said, I watched till sloan were put in place, and the ancient of days were seated. His garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head was like pure wool. His slaughter was a fiery flame. Its wheels, a burning fire, a fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. A thousand ministered to him, 10,000 times 10,000 stood before him. The court was seated and the books were open. SPEAKER C Wow. So this scene is taking place in heaven? In heaven. The angel has directed Daniel's attention to the throne room of the universe. There the prophet saw the setting up of a supreme court of the universe in heaven's sanctuary. Well, Hana, when does this heavenly judgment take place? Daniel, chapter eight and verse 14 it. SPEAKER D Says, and he said to me, for 2300 days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed. SPEAKER C Okay, so tells us 2300 days and then the sanctuary shall be cleansed. That's interesting. We have to unpack that a little more. What does the prophet Daniel say would happen to the sanctuary at the end of the 2300 prophetic days from that verse? Hana yes. SPEAKER D For 2300 days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed. SPEAKER C Okay, so we have to unpack that a little further, isn't it? SPEAKER D Yes. SPEAKER C So what did the cleansing or restoring of the sanctuary mean to each Israelite? What did God ask them to do? And what would happen to anyone who did not afflict their soul in repentance for sin? There's a number of questions there we need to answer. So we're turning to the ancient book of Leviticus. Leviticus, chapter 16. And Hana, if you would read verse 29 to 30 and then also chapter 23, verses 27 to 29. SPEAKER D Sure. Leviticus 1629 and 30, it says, this shall be a statute forever for you in the 7th month. On the 10th day of the month, you shall afflict your souls and do no work at all, whether a native or your warned country or a stranger who dwells among you. For on that day, the priest shall make atonement for you to cleanse you that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. And we jump to chapter 23 and verse 27 to 29. It says also, the 10th day of this 7th month shall be the day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you. You shall afflict your souls and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, and you shall do no work on the same day, for it is the day of Atonement to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. For any person who is not afflicted in Saul on that same day shall be cut off from his people. SPEAKER C Thank you, Hana. So we have to go back to ancient Israel where this began with this day of atonement. This day of judgment was introduced through the sanctuary system. It's interesting because God's people, he had delivered the Israelites from Egypt. He was taking them from Egypt to Canaan when they were introduced to this system and also to the sanctuary. So each day during the earthly sanctuary service, the Israelites confessed their sins. They came to the sanctuary with their sacrificial animals. Each sacrificial animal represented jesus. So day by day, sin was transferred from the sinner to the substitute, and through the blood of the sacrificial victim, carried into the sanctuary by the Jewish priest. Each priest represented Jesus, our priest, who represents us in heaven's sanctuary. Now, once a year on the day of Atonement, the sanctuary was cleansed of all the guilt transferred in by the confessed sins of the Israelites. It was a day of judgment. At the end of the day, the sins of the repentant Israelites were either confessed, forgiven and renounced, or unconfessed, unforgiven and cherished. All Israelites who refused to confess their sins were banished from the camp. They were judged. The cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary takes place at the end of time. It is God's final judgment on sin. So when does the vision of the 2300 days especially apply to going back to the Book of Daniel? Daniel, chapter eight, verse 1617 and 19. SPEAKER D The Bible says, and I heard a man's voice between the banks of the lie who called and said, gabriel, make this man understand the vision. Verse 17. So he came near where I stood, and where he came I was afraid and fell on my face. But he said to me, Understand, son of man, that the vision referred to the time of the end. And he said, Look, I am making known to you who shall happen in the latter time of the indignation. For the appointed time, the end shall be interesting. SPEAKER C Hana so the Bible tells us that when does the vision of the 2300 days especially apply to time of the. SPEAKER D End. SPEAKER C An appointed time, the time of the end. Interesting. Well, who was Daniel's guide to explain the vision? And what did God instruct the angel to do? In verse 16 of Daniel, chapter eight? SPEAKER D Yes, I heard a man's voice between the banks of the ally who called and said, gabriel, make this man understand the vision. So it was Angel Gabriel who was sent, and he was sent because to make Daniel understand this vision. SPEAKER C Wow. It was a big vision that he was experiencing and seeing. Interesting. When the angel attempted to explain the vision, the Bible says, what did Daniel do in verse 27 of chapter eight. SPEAKER D Of Daniel I daniel fainted and was sick for days. After what I arose and went about the king's business, I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood. SPEAKER E Know. SPEAKER D In book of Daniel I always admire. And Daniel is like a perfect man, but then he was also human. He was so overwhelmed, he was faint. He fainted and was sick. SPEAKER C Amen. Hana he was very you know, they had been in captivity. He was taken into captivity as a young man, along with a number of other young people that were considered of high importance. And Daniel and his friends had remained faithful to God in the kingdom of Babylon, so much so that God had blessed Daniel and his three friends, shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. And because of their faithfulness, they stood out in ancient Babylon. And God chose Daniel to interpret dreams for him, for the ancient king, King Nebuchadnezzar. But here he receives a vision that he actually faints him. I guess he has been a student of the scriptures. And as we study the Bible, we discover that Daniel didn't understand this time prophecy that was given. There was other parts in Daniel chapter eight that he did understand, but when it came to the time period given, he did not understand. And it's interesting the amount of years in between Daniel chapter eight and Daniel chapter nine is not a short period of time, but possibly around 13 years transpire in between Daniel chapter eight and Daniel chapter nine. Daniel doesn't understand that time period, but he does remember that there was 70 years that Jeremiah the Prophet had prophesied about in verse Daniel chapter nine and verse two. Would you like to read that for us, Hana? SPEAKER D Sure. In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood by the book of the sorry books, the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the Prophet, that he would accomplish 70 years in desolation of Jerusalem. SPEAKER C So Daniel is recognizing that that 70 year period has nearly transpired, that they should be able to go back his people and to rebuild that broken down city and to rebuild the temple that had been burnt. But they're still in Babylon and this time prophecy that he has been given had been troubling him. But God has not explained it to him and he says a beautiful prayer. Then from verse three onwards. And Hana, would you like to read verses three and four of Daniel chapter nine? SPEAKER D Sure. It says, Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make requests by prayer and supplications with fasting sackcloth and ashes. And I pray to the Lord my God, and made confession and said, o Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant and mercy with those who love Him and with those who keep his commandments. SPEAKER C Yes. And I'll just read on in verse five, he says, we have sinned and committed iniquity. We have done wickedly and rebelled even by departing from your precepts and your judgments. And he goes on, and it's such a beautiful prayer from this faithful man of God. And we come over where he's still praying at. Hana, if you would like to read verse 18 and 19 of chapter nine? SPEAKER D Sure. O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by your name. For we do not present our supplications before you because of our righteous deeds, but because of your great mercies. O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act. Do not delay for your own sake, my God, for your city, and your people are called by your name. SPEAKER C Wow. SPEAKER D Beautiful. SPEAKER C He's thinking that. Is there going to be a delay in allowing God's people to return to Jerusalem now, while I was speaking, praying and confessing my sin, verse 20, and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God, for the holy mountain of my God, he's praying. Hana and what happens next when the angel Gabriel returns? What does he tell Daniel in verse 21 to 23 of Daniel, chapter nine. SPEAKER D Sure, it says yes. While I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning being caused to fly, swiftly reached me about the time of evening offering, and he informed me and talked with me and said, oh, Daniel, I have now come forward to give you skill to understand. At the beginning of your supplications, the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly loved, beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand the vision. SPEAKER C Interesting. Well, what portion of the prophecy applies directly to Daniel's people? The Jews. In Daniel nine, verse 24. SPEAKER D Sure 70 weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make reconciliation, for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. SPEAKER C Amen. So Gabriel begins his explanation by stating that 70 weeks or 490 days are determined, or we could say cut off from the 2300 days, especially for the Jews. SPEAKER D Yes. SPEAKER C Hana, did you know that there's the curse of the Talmud? Rabbis after the time of Christ have pronounced a curse on anyone who would attempt to calculate the dates of this chapter, chapter nine. So it's actually extremely important to study. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C And you can actually find a link to the PowerPoint that has the charts accompanying this Bible study, which will help you understand the time prophecies more clearly. Hana, would you like to tell our listeners where they may find the charts to follow while we study this? SPEAKER D Yeah. Three AVN. australia.org au. So if you click on the Listen button near the middle of the page, this bring you to the On Demand program you can listen to. If you scroll down the page, you will see Search for Certainty, which is this program. I think especially this Bible study, we need to see some chat, so it'll be great if you could go to this link. SPEAKER C Thank you so much, Hana. It will really help while you follow this study. So, as we continue on in our journey to understand in the Bible, what does one prophetic day equal? There's only two places in Scripture that we can go to to find the key to this answer. So, Hana, if you go to Numbers, chapter 14 and verse 34. SPEAKER D Yes, the Bible says, according to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, 40 days for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely 40 years, and you shall know my rejection. SPEAKER C Thank you, Hana. And there's also Ezekiel four, verse six. So there in that passage it was, one day you shall bear the guilt for one year. SPEAKER D This one, Ezekiel four six, it says, and when you have completed them, lie against again on your right side, then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. 40 days I have laid on you a day for each year. SPEAKER C Interesting, Hana. So one prophetic day equals one literal year. That is the key that will help us unlock this prophecy. SPEAKER D Yes. SPEAKER C And we'll use that method for this prophecy, and let's see the exciting results that come. SPEAKER D Yes. SPEAKER C Well, the entire 2300 days leads us to the time of the end and the opening of the judgment. So, question, when does this entire prophetic period begin? Daniel, chapter nine and verse 25 begins to unlock that mystery. SPEAKER D Sure. It says, Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the prince, there shall be seven weeks, and 62 weeks that street shall be built again, and the wall even in troublesome times. SPEAKER C So the entire prophetic period begins with the command to restore and build Jerusalem. Well, Jerusalem was attacked in 605 BC. By the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BC. It was largely destroyed. The Medes and Persians overthrew the Babylonians in 539 BC. But it was in 457 BC. The Persian king Artaxerxes passed a decree allowing the Jews to return to their homeland to rebuild Jerusalem. And you can read about this decree in Ezra, chapter seven, verses twelve and 13. Henny, you might just like to turn there for our listeners. It's interesting that there were two other decrees before the decree of Artaxerxes by King Cyrus and also by King Darius, but both those decrees did not fulfill the words of Scripture. SPEAKER D Etsla seven, verse twelve and 13. It says, Artisaxis, king of kings, to Ezla the priest ascribes of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace and so forth. I issue a decree that all those of the people of Israel and the priests and levites in my rim who volunteer to go up to Jerusalem may go with you. SPEAKER C Excellent. And with Ezra the scribe, as he read out what the king had requested, he read out that they were able to operate with their own laws under Persian rule, implement their judicial system again, and they were able to fulfill not only restoration, as the verse has said there, but also building Jerusalem. So the building continued, but the restoration of their laws and their civil system was again allowed. Well, how long would it be from the decree to restore Jerusalem to the anointing of Jesus as the Messiah? Daniel nine, verse 25. SPEAKER D Know therefore an understander from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah prince, there shall be seven weeks and 62 weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall even in troublesome times. So seven weeks and 62 weeks. SPEAKER C The prophecies of Daniel predict that from the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC. Until the coming of the Messiah would be Hana 69 prophetic weeks. Or if we do our math, seven times 69 equals 483. That's 483 prophetic days. 483 literal years since. Yes, because one prophetic day equals one literal year. 483 years from the going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem, the Messiah would appear. Now, I hope that you had a chance to find the chart with the directions that Hana gave, because that would help so much as you follow us through. If the prophecy begins in 457 BC with a decree to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and proceeds to 483 years into the future, we will arrive at Ad. 27. It's interesting, there is no year Naught when you go from BC. To Ad. So we need to have a look. So based on Daniel's prophecy, the fall of Ad. 27 is the logical time for the Messiah's, anointing or Christ's public baptism. Let's go to the New Testament. Hana, what happened when Jesus was baptized? In Luke, chapter three, verses 21 and. SPEAKER D 22, the Bible said, when all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized. And while he prayed, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descends in a bodily form like a dove upon him. And a voice came from heaven which said, you are my beloved Son, and in you I am well pleased. SPEAKER C Wow. So this was a public baptism for Jesus. He was anointed with the Holy Spirit for his public ministry. And there's a text in the Book of Acts, Hana, acts, chapter ten and verse 38. Would you read that for us as well? SPEAKER D Sure. Acts ten, verse 38, it says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. SPEAKER C Amen. So although he always had a perfect life and he always was a blessing to humanity, it was after his baptism that he began his public ministry. And I love how it's written there in the Book of Acts that he was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power. Now, just taking us back to Luke, chapter three, where you read about the baptism of Jesus, Hana, if you'd like to just go back there briefly, because we find there that, yes, we're telling our listeners that it was the year ad 27. But it's interesting, if you go to Luke, chapter three and you begin that chapter, it tells us what year it was. If you'd read verse one for us. And there's a few unusual words here. SPEAKER D It says, now in the 15th year of the reign of Tiberis Cayasao, Pontius, Pilot being governor of Judea, herald being Tetrak of Galilee, his brother Philip, Tetrak of itre, and the region of Truck, Nortics and Lisa nears Tetrak of Abilinz. SPEAKER C Thank you. They're words we don't use very often. But it's interesting here. There's some history and there's the time given. It's the 15th year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, and one can do the math and one can discover that it was Ad 27 was the 15th year wow. Of Tiberius Caesar. So we may read that and think, well, is that really relevant? But it's placed there in the Scriptures to help us to understand the year, which fits in perfectly with the explanation that Gabriel the angel is giving to Daniel in Daniel chapter nine. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C And pinpointing exactly when the Messiah would come on the scene of history for his public ministry, beginning with his anointing at his baptism. SPEAKER D Amen. SPEAKER C It's amazing. And it's interesting, too, that if you turn over the page there to Luke chapter three, we're still in Luke chapter three. And verse 23, it tells us the age of Jesus when he was baptized, luke, chapter three. And verse 23 23. SPEAKER D Now, Jesus himself began his ministry at about 30 years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Heli. SPEAKER C Thank you, Hana. And it's interesting to note yes, it's 80 27. Jesus was about 30 years of age, so he was born BC four because there's no year. Naught. SPEAKER D That's right. SPEAKER C It's interesting, Hana. Also in the Book of Mark, mark, chapter one, verses 14 and 15, if you wouldn't mind reading that passage for us. SPEAKER D Sure. The Bible says, now after John was put in prison, jesus came to Galilee preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God and saying, the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel. SPEAKER C Thank you, Hana. It's interesting, as Jesus says in his own words, he says, the time is fulfilled. He had studied the ancient scroll of Daniel. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C He knew that he was fulfilling prophecy. He believed that by faith from his study of the Scriptures, and here the time is fulfilled, his public ministry has begun, and this was a momentous time in Earth's history. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C So it's so interesting that the Bible confirms the accuracy and history confirms the accuracy of God's word. Well, when would Jesus bring all sacrificial offerings to an end with his death on the cross? In Daniel nine and verse 27, it. SPEAKER D Says, then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. But in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering and on the wing of Abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation which is determined is poured out on the desolate. SPEAKER C Wow. So the Bible is telling us that that covenant he was going to confirm with many for one week, but in the middle of the week. Now, is that a literal week? SPEAKER D Well, no. One week has seven days. And now we know that days equal one literal year. So half of this seven year, that means three years and half. SPEAKER C Correct, Hana. So three and a half years from his public baptism, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. So the first 69 weeks of the 70 week period ran out in Ad 27 at Christ's baptism. And you're absolutely right, Hana. There was just one week or seven years remaining in the middle of this last prophetic week. As I've just said, the animal sacrifices, or as the scripture said I should say, would cease. And that's because the Messiah would be cut off or crucified according to the prophecy, jesus would be crucified three and one half years from his baptism in Ad 27. So this leads us to the spring of Ad 31. Jesus was crucified in the spring exactly on the Passover, as the prophecy predicted. Hana, if you would read for us in the Gospel of John John chapter 19 and verse 31. SPEAKER D Sure. The Bible said, therefore, because it was the preparation day, that the body should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath, for that Sabbath was a high day. The Jews asked Pilot that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away. SPEAKER C Thank you, Hana. Just wanted to bring out the important fact that the Sabbath was also a high day, because it was not only the weekly Sabbath, but it was coinciding with one of the feast Sabbaths, which was the Passover. So you had the feast of unleavened bread that was going to be taking place. So here it was a high Sabbath. It was not just the weekly Sabbath. As we journey on, what event occurred in the Jewish temple when Christ was crucified? Matthew 27 and verse 51, the Bible. SPEAKER D Says, then behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth unquaked and the rocks were split. Wow. So the temple, the veil of the temple was torn into two. SPEAKER C That is amazing. SPEAKER D Yes, the veil must not be just light and thin, but it was torn. This huge carton was torn. SPEAKER C Amen. Hana. And the tearing of the veil in the Jewish temple signified the end of the sacrificial system on Passover of Ad 31. Jesus Christ. Our passover was crucified. For us, the sacrificial system lost its significance. Christ, our substitute, was sacrificed in our behalf. Now, it's interesting about that curtain. It was 60ft long and 30ft wide. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C It was one inch thick. If we go back to the old scale and the curtain was woven in purple and scarlet and blue, and it took 300 priests to manipulate it into place. So it was a heavy curtain. SPEAKER D Wow. SPEAKER C So tearing from top to bottom was definitely supernatural. SPEAKER D Yes. Human cannot do that. SPEAKER C Absolutely not. Historically, the whole sacrificial system came to an end with the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus in Ad 70. In Ad 34, as the prophecy predicted, the Jews finally sealed their doom as a nation. The Jewish High Priest speaking on behalf of the Sanhedrin. The High Jewish Council officially rejected. Jesus. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, was stoned, and the Gospel was preached to the Gentiles. Hana, if you just turn to the Book of Acts. Acts, chapter seven, and could read that for our listeners, where Stephen was stoned. And if you would read for us first verse 54 to 56. SPEAKER D Yes. It says, when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart and they gnashed at him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God and said, Look, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and ran at him with one accord. SPEAKER C Maybe, Hana, if you wouldn't mind reading to the end of that chapter. SPEAKER D Yes. And they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul, and they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, lord, do not charge them with this sin. And when he had said this, he felt asleep. SPEAKER C Wow. This began the persecution of the early Christians in big time. And we notice just reading on there, Hana, in chapter eight and verse one and verse four. SPEAKER D Yes. It says, now, Saul was consenting to his death. At that time, a great persecution arose against the Church which was at Jerusalem and they were all scattered throughout the region of Judea and Samaria except the apostles and devout men carried Stephen to his burial and made great lamentation over him as he made havoc of the Church entering every house and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison. SPEAKER C And verse four as well? SPEAKER D Yes. Therefore, those who were scatters went everywhere, preaching the word Amen. SPEAKER C So through the as we just read through the stoning of Stephen, the first Christian martyr, we find that the Gospel was preached to the Gentiles because they had to leave Jerusalem. They went everywhere for safety, and thus they carried with them the good News, the everlasting Gospel about Jesus. Wow. The 490 year period is a smaller section of the 2300 days. The 490 years applies especially to the Jews. And the coming of the Messiah. The longer prophecy of the 2300 days leads us to the time of the end. The time of end, I should say the cleansing of the sanctuary and earth's. Final judgment. Now, Hana, I have to do some math here. According to adding 1810 years to our last date, ad. 34 brings us to 1844. Just as surely as Christ was baptized in Ad. 27 and crucified in Ad. 31, the judgment began in Ad. 1844. Does it make any difference in the way we live knowing we're living in the judgment hour? What does Paul write in Romans, chapter 13, verses eleven through to 14? SPEAKER D It says, and do this knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep. For now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, nor in strife and envy, but put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its last. SPEAKER C Wow. So it does make a difference the way we live when we're living in judgment hour. Absolutely. God is wanting us to seek Him, to understand Him, to know Him. What assurance does God give us in the judgment? Hebrews seven, verse 25. SPEAKER D Hebrews seven, verse 25. The Bible said therefore, he is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through him, since he always lived to make intercession for them. SPEAKER C Amen. If any of us had to stand alone, Hana, we would have no hope. Jesus will stand in our behalf in the judgment. SPEAKER D Amen. SPEAKER C What assurance? We can rejoice in the hope of Christ, who is our best friend, representing us before the throne of God? Well, it's always good to make a decision and to give thought to what one has heard and what one has studied. And here it's like a prayer in our decision. Today. Dear Lord, I surrender my weak, sinful self to you. Take me and make me fully Yours. I choose to accept Jesus as my Savior, lord and High Priest in the judgment. I surrender anything that stands between us. Forgive my sins and grant me Your power to live the way you desire. And I would like to say that with my heart today. SPEAKER D Me too. SPEAKER C Let us pray together. Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank you that you love us so much that you would come so far from heaven, down to our dark world, to live amongst men, to suffer, to die, and to rise again. And now, Lord, you are our mediator and our judge, you are our High Priest and you are our Redeemer. And today we accept you as our personal Lord and Savior that you will stand for us in Judgment Hour. We want to open up our hearts to you. We've heard things for the first time today that perhaps we've not understood, or perhaps it's still very unclear. But we recognize that the prophecy in the Book of Daniel that coincides with the first angel message that Judgment Hour is come. We are living in momentous times. We pray, Lord, that you may lead us to understand the times in which we're living. And we thank you, Lord, that Your mercy extends to us and Your grace is coming to us through Your love and through Your plan of redemption. Thank you for loving us first. SPEAKER E This is the two tip lady with tips to help make your life more simple. Do you ever wish that you could just get the job done that's been bugging you for ages? You look in that messy cupboard and moan about how you can't find anything when you need it and you feel bugged. Or you shut your eyes when you get in the car and hope you won't remember, since your eyes are shut. That after the last trip out. Clothes, food wrappers, drink bottles, and other bits and pieces were left strewn all over the place. But you have to get in gear and go right now anyway, in that mess feeling cross and, yes, bugged again. Or you look in your fridge and you wonder how that moldy, slimy looking stuff got in there. Your eyes even look bugged as you slam the door shut so you can't see it? Do you peer out the garden, feeling bugged by the overgrown, tangled mess and wish those weeds would just vanish? Well, while some of these things might not be my jobs, they surely need doing. So my two tips today are really simple. If I haven't delegated these tasks, and if they are my responsibility, or if I want to get rid of those bugs, I simply say to myself, tip number one, if it's to be, it's up to me. And I'm not going to keep you in suspense about the second tip, because tip number two is simply this get started righto then my timer gets set for 15 minutes and I jump in and do it. And amazingly, really amazingly, it's a rare thing when I can't actually push that job over before the time beeps. That's always a shock, especially when I've put it off for a long time. But it's true. I can do anything for 15 minutes. So if you tell yourself tip number one, if it's to be, it's up to me. And tip number two, just get started, then set the timer and go for it, I guarantee you're going to feel free. Solomon even reminds us that there's a time to get that job done. And you know what? Zapping those bugs actually turns into fun when I'm racing the timer to get the job done. Well, that's it for today from the two tip lady who loves to help make your life more simple. SPEAKER C You have been listening to a production of three ABN Australia radio.
